Depzdrav warned about the scheme of scammers with calls from alleged clinics
On April 26, the Moscow Department of Health warned about fraudsters who, when calling, introduce themselves as employees of the polyclinic and ask for passport details, SNILS and the code from the message.
"Beware: scammers again. The attackers introduce themselves as employees of polyclinics: they call with an invitation to a medical examination and ask for passport details, SNILS and an SMS code, allegedly to confirm an appointment with a doctor," the agency wrote in a channel in the MAX.
The publication recalled that polyclinic staff never ask for personal information and a text message code. The agency once again stressed that such information should not be called an outsider, intruders can thus gain access to the account on Gosuslugi. Depzdrav urged citizens to be vigilant.
The organization for combating the illegal use of information and communication technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on April 25 that with the beginning of the summer season, there has been an increase in the number of phishing resources disguised as online stores of garden goods. The department explained that the attackers are creating websites that simulate sites for the sale of chainsaws, greenhouses, fertilizers and other equipment at low prices. At the same time, a full prepayment is a prerequisite for the purchase.
