In the second match of the semi-final series of the Gagarin Cup between Yaroslavl "Locomotive" and Omsk "Avangard" there was a massive brawl. The game takes place on April 26 in the second period with the score 3:1 in favor of the guests.

The episode occurred in the 17th minute of the second period after the abandoned puck. After Andrei Sergeev's goal, a clash began at the gate of Avangard goalkeeper Nikita Serebryakov with the participation of players from both teams. As a result of the incident, the referees decided to remove all field hockey players on the ice.

According to Sport-Express, ten players received two-minute fines for rudeness: Egor Surin, Georgy Ivanov, Alexander Radulov, Rushan Rafikov, Andrey Sergeev, Joseph Cecconi, Damir Sharipzyanov, Andrew Poturalski, Mikhail Kotlyarevsky and Nail Yakupov.
