- Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky acknowledged the difficult situation at the front and the offensive of the Russian army
The Russian army is advancing along almost the entire front line. This was announced on April 26 by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky.
"The situation remains difficult. The enemy has intensified offensive actions along almost the entire front line," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Commander-in-Chief held a meeting with the Chief of the Defense Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Jenny Carignan. Syrsky noted Canada's significant contribution and thanked the country for its military assistance.
On April 9, Syrsky announced a decisive confrontation between Russia and Ukraine. Syrsky previously stated that the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one of the areas remains difficult. He added that this is one of the key sites in the "southern operational zone."
On February 22, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recognized the superiority of Russian aviation on the line of combat contact. He noted that the Russian Federation is actively using guided aerial bombs on the front line, which provides it with a significant advantage in the air.
