Peskov called the proclamation of Russia as a threat to Europe erroneous
Statements that Russia is supposedly the main threat to the existence of Europe are unreasonable and erroneous. This was announced on April 26 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Russia cannot be the main threat to Europe, because Russia, no matter what anyone says, being a Eurasian country, is still an integral part of Europe," he said in an interview with Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Peskov noted with regret that current European politicians choose the line of total Russophobia as their main guideline. He called the proclamation of Russia as the main threat unreasonable.
In addition, the spokesman added that the architecture of European security is impossible without taking into account the interests of Russia and its direct participation.
On April 24, Peskov called the new statements by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk regarding Russia another manifestation of Russophobia. On the same day, Tusk said that Russia was allegedly planning to launch a military operation against one of the NATO member countries soon. The politician fears that if such a development really happens, the United States may not come to Europe's aid.
