Sobyanin spoke about plans to build a technology college in Yuzhny Tushin

It is planned to build a modern technical college in the Yuzhnoye Tushino district, designed for about 7.6 thousand students. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.

"The college will be located in a Hiking lane. The design is currently underway, and the visual concept has already been agreed upon. From the outside, the building will be surrounded by a "colonnade". Its smooth line will remind you of the bends of the Skhodnya River, located nearby. The glazed facades and interior design will emphasize the industrial—oriented nature of the facility," Stolichny Gra said.

At the educational institution, students will be able to master sought-after specialties in the fields of aviation, architecture, information modeling, electrical equipment adjustment, logistics, as well as chemical and medical-technical profiles.

The project provides for the creation of two gyms. Laboratories and workshops will be equipped with modern equipment. In particular, future specialists in the construction industry will be engaged in BIM modeling and learn how to create digital counterparts of buildings using domestic software.

Laboratories and testing grounds will be created for students of the aviation field, which will be close to the conditions of a real aviation enterprise. The training will be organized according to a full—cycle model - from designing parts to working out the aircraft's meeting and passenger accommodation. Students will be able to assemble and program instruments on their own, as well as prepare aircraft for flight.

The college is scheduled to be completed in 2028.

"I reported in detail to the President about the development of the secondary vocational education system at our recent meeting. Moscow has been actively engaged in this work in recent years, which is consistent with the goals and initiatives of the national Cadres project," Sergei Sobyanin said.
