The shooter could have been a guest of the Washington Hilton hotel, where US President Donald Trump attended the reception. This was announced on April 25 by Washington Police Chief Jeffrey Carroll.
"So, preliminary information, we believe that he was a guest of this hotel. We have booked a hotel room, and, again, we will go through the appropriate procedures to determine what was inside," NBC News quoted him as saying.
