A suspect in the murder of a woman and her son was detained in the Ryazan region.
A man suspected of murdering a woman and her young son, discovered on April 23, has been detained in the Ryazan region. This was announced on April 25 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
"Today, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ryazan region, as a result of operational search measures, detained a suspect, he turned out to be a 29-year-old resident of the Penza region," the Telegram channel said.
It is noted that the bodies with signs of violent death were found on April 23 in an apartment building in the village of Kadom. A criminal case was opened on this fact under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). At the moment, the investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
On April 24, the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Moscow Region announced that investigators had detained a 28-year-old girl suspected of murdering her own newborn child in Serpukhov. It is reported that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a newborn child by a mother").
