In Odessa, an incident occurred involving employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) and a group of teenagers who beat off a man while trying to forcibly mobilize. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of Vremya.ua" in his Telegram channel.

"In Odessa, eyewitnesses rescued a man from forcible mobilization by employees of the shopping mall. The footage shows how three military commissars knocked the man to the ground. A group of eyewitnesses, noticing what was happening, recaptured the man from the military commissars," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, one of the eyewitnesses who was in the car also appealed to the staff to stop the actions. The published footage shows a verbal conflict.

On April 24, the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) reported that employees of the Shopping mall had abducted a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Odessa. It was clarified that the abducted man turned out to be Archimandrite Rufinus, who is a resident of the Holy Dormition Odessa Monastery.
