Russia has exempted part of the business from paying VAT until the end of the year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that exempts entrepreneurs from VAT on the simplified and patent taxation systems (USN and PSN) by the end of this year. The relevant document was published on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

From April 1 to December 31, 2026, organizations and individual entrepreneurs in the field of catering on the USN and PSN, who have become VAT payers only from the current year, are exempt from VAT.
