The embroidered climber shared the details of the avalanche in Buryatia
Mountaineer Konstantin, who survived an avalanche near Mount Munku-Sardyk in Buryatia, told Izvestia on April 25 the details of the incident.
"The ascent did not take place within the framework of training camps. The fans just gathered," the man said.
Konstantin worked at a mountain camp and decided to join a group dating back to Constitution Peak. He shared that an experienced mountaineering guide assessed the situation before the hike - no threat was noticed. The survivor noted that no one expected the avalanche to descend.
According to him, the tourists were walking one after another when suddenly an avalanche appeared in front of them. Konstantin claims that four people were killed, including the guide.
The man also added that the weather was cold before the ascent, but then it suddenly got hot. This probably influenced the avalanche.
