An attempt to attack an infrastructure facility was prevented in the Chelyabinsk region

Air defense systems in the Chelyabinsk region stopped an attempted unmanned attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 25 by Governor Alexey Texler.

"An attempt of an unmanned attack was stopped at one of the infrastructure facilities in the Chelyabinsk region," he wrote in his MAX messenger.

The governor added that there were no casualties or damage caused by the attempted attack.

On April 24, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces had identified and destroyed 11 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia in nine hours. It is specified that the devices were shot down over the Kursk, Belgorod and Rostov regions, and also eliminated in the skies over the republics of Crimea and Dagestan. The drone was also neutralized over the Black Sea.
