Lavrov spoke about the principles of relations between the United States and Russia

The United States does not use its typical model of pressure and threats in its dialogue with the Russian Federation. This was announced on April 24 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"The logic of the Americans in their relations with most countries — I have not heard such things in dialogue with us yet, and I hope I won't — is that if you don't do what I ask of you, I will punish you. That is, I'm not promising you anything, but you have to give me what I want, and if you don't, I'll punish you," the politician said during a meeting with the heads of Russian non—profit organizations (NGOs).
