Air defense systems shot down five UAVs in the sky over the Voronezh region
The Air Defense Forces shot down five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the sky over the Voronezh region The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 25 by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.
"Five unmanned aerial vehicles were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces on duty in the skies over two cities and one of the districts of the Voronezh Region," the Telegram channel said.
It is specified that there was no information about the destruction or casualties.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on April 24, air defense detected and destroyed 11 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia in nine hours. It is noted that the UAVs were shot down over the Kursk, Belgorod and Rostov regions, as well as in the skies over the republics of Crimea and Dagestan and over the Black Sea.
