Tick activity has increased significantly in the Kuban
With the onset of warming in the Krasnodar Territory, the activity of ticks has increased significantly. 470 people turned to doctors.
The largest number of victims was recorded on the Black Sea and Azov coasts. 121 people were injured in the resort areas. 104 cases of bites have been registered in Krasnodar. This is reported by KrasnodarMedia news agency.
More than 3.1 thousand ticks were received for research in the laboratory, of which 415 individuals were removed directly from the victims. 17.6% of ticks were infected with borreliosis.
In the Trans-Baikal Territory, 117 cases of tick sucking have been registered since the beginning of the season. There are 24 children among the injured.
