Lavrov called the collective West a threat to global security

The main threat to international security is posed by the policies of the collective West. This was stated on April 24 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting with the heads of Russian non-profit organizations in Moscow.

"The main threat to international peace and security, as we see it today, is the policy of the states of the collective West," the minister said.

Despite the fact that the West continues to be called collective, there are already disagreements within the collective itself, he noted. At the same time, the goal of this team, according to Lavrov, is to dominate in different parts of the world, including Africa, Latin America and Asia.

On April 22, Lavrov stressed that the conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine originated and were organized by the authorities of Western states. He added that Moscow cannot stand idly by as terrorist and radical groups carry out ethnic cleansing, looting and murder, including on religious grounds.
