In the Omsk region, administrative responsibility was introduced for finding children near reservoirs without adult supervision. The authorities expect that such measures will reduce the number of tragedies.

According to OmskMedia news agency, ten children drowned in the region in 2025. Now the fine for finding a child under 16 years of age at a reservoir without adult supervision will range from 500 to 2 thousand rubles.

The law also provides for the introduction of fines for swimming in prohibited places, as well as damage or demolition of fences, warning signs and information boards on beaches.

Earlier it was reported that there will be no bathing season in Krasnodar in 2026. The water condition in the Kuban River is not considered safe.
