Putin was shown a Bedouin cape given to Zhirinovsky by Gaddafi in the 90s.
Russian President Vladimir Putin was shown a Bedouin cape presented to the politician by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi at the end of the last century as part of an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of LDPR founder Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
"Gaddafi took off his [cape] in the desert when Vladimir Volfovich became very cold, and gave it to him <...>. He treasured it very much," RIA Novosti quoted Leonid Slutsky, the current representative of the Liberal Democratic Party, who accompanied the Russian leader.
