One person was killed and two injured in a car collision on the M-4 Don

In the Khleven district of the Lipetsk region, a woman was killed and a pensioner and a child were injured as a result of a car collision. This is reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

The accident occurred on Thursday, April 23, on the federal highway M-4 "Don". Passenger cars VAZ-2114 and Volkswagen collided.

As a result of the accident, the 43-year-old passenger of the VAZ received various injuries, from which she died on the spot. A 71-year-old driver of a domestic car and a 10-year-old passenger of a foreign car were also injured, GOROD48 writes.

The circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.

Earlier, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia that 239 road accidents had occurred on the country's roads over the past day, killing 18 and injuring 280 people. 11 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
