Willpower and determination are necessary for those who want to save 1 million rubles. Candidate of Economic Sciences, financial expert Vladimir Grigoriev told about this on Friday, April 24.

"For every salary, advance payment or other types of income that exist, it is necessary to separate some part, not spend it and place it so that it does not lie in the wallet. It is better to put it in a bank account," he said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

The economist noted that most banks have a convenient mechanism for savings — a replenished deposit. Term deposit rates are lower there, but interest is charged, he added.

Grigoriev explained that it is necessary to calculate the expenses that a person carries out during the month, set aside the amount for unforeseen expenses, and postpone what is above that. He stressed that consistency and psychological attitude are important here.

The day before, Maria Ermilova, a financier and associate professor at the Department of Finance for Sustainable Development at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, said that Russians can increase their retirement savings through a safe and profitable long-term savings program.

On the same day, a study by the Finuslugi marketplace showed that in Russia, the most profitable types of bank deposits were short and long deposits linked to a key interest rate. 360.ru .

In turn, Mikhail Delyagin, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, told NSN that the percentage of deposits is no longer as attractive as before.
