April became the most visited month in car service stations in 2025, whereas five years earlier the record high in the number of visits was recorded in October. The traditions of seasonal car maintenance in Russia have been preserved, but peak demand has shifted from autumn to spring. This was reported to Izvestia on April 27 by analysts of the international network of Fit Service car services.

The records for average receipts in car service stations have also changed in five years. The most "expensive" month of the year according to the average receipt in 2025 was September, when the average order amount reached 12.6 thousand rubles. In 2020, September was also the leader, but the average check then was only 4872 rubles.

"This dynamic reflects not only an increase in prices for spare parts and work, but also a significant increase in the amount of work that car owners perform in services in one visit. Against the background of the aging of the fleet, minor and serious repairs are increasingly being added to the basic maintenance," said Dmitry Samoilov, Director of Partner Support for the Fit Service network.

At the same time, at the weekly level, the picture has not changed over the past five years. Saturday became the most "car service" day. According to the average check, the leadership currently, as before, remains with Friday, when car owners most often combine the necessary work with additional operations. The average check on this day has grown from about 4.3 thousand to 12.5 thousand rubles in five years.

Experts drew attention to the fact that car owners allocate time to resolve issues with the car from Friday to Sunday. Moreover, customers now want to solve many more issues in one visit than they did five to ten years ago. They want to "change shoes", undergo diagnostics, and close the accumulated questions about suspension, brakes, and fluids. Now one record-breaking day in terms of workload is comparable to several ordinary days five years ago.

Earlier, on April 9, it was reported that the basic spring check-up of a car in the regions of Russia will cost car owners about 8 thousand rubles on average, and about 12 thousand rubles in Moscow and St. Petersburg. This program includes diagnostics of the chassis and brake system, "refilling" for summer tires, checking the cooling system, as well as monitoring the level and condition of engine oil and automatic transmission fluid.
