Inflation will be closer to the upper limit of the forecast of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the current year. This was announced on April 24 by the chairman of the regulator, Elvira Nabiullina, during a press conference.

"In terms of inflation, we are currently moving in the upper part of our forecast range, so we have pulled the lower part of the key rate forecast up by half a percentage point," she said.
