Denis, the son of journalist and TV presenter Alexei Pimanov, said that his father was active in a video conversation a day before his death. The man announced this on April 23 in an interview with the StarHit magazine.

"I don't know what happened at all. I'm shocked. Everything was fine! We talked yesterday via video link. He was funny, funny, active. Everything was fine," the man shared.

Denis added that the date of the TV presenter's funeral is currently unknown.

Pimanov died on April 23 at the age of 65. Pimanov's wife, actress Olga Pogodina, said that the cause of death of the TV presenter was a heart attack. In 1996, the journalist became one of the founders of the Ostankino TV channel, as well as the main presenter of the Man and the Law program. Later, he became president of the Krasnaya Zvezda media holding, where he also wrote scripts for films.
