Reshetnikov predicted the unemployment rate in Russia below 3% until 2028
In Russia, unemployment will remain below 3% until 2028. This was announced on April 24 by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at the opening of the 21st meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee on Trade, Economy and Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
"Last year it was just over 2%. According to our forecasts, such low levels will remain in the next three years," TASS quoted him as saying.
It is noted that this year the unemployment rate should be at 2.6%, while next year it will be 2.5%, and by 2028 — 2.3%.
On the same day, Reshetnikov said that the growth of the Russian economy is accompanied by minimal unemployment. He specified that the Russian economy has all the resources for growth.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted on April 15 that the unemployment rate in the country continues to remain low and currently stands at 2.1%. According to him, such indicators indicate the transformation of the domestic labor market.
