Fishermen disappeared after a storm on the Volga River in the Volgograd region. This was announced on April 24 by a source of Izvestia.

According to his information, four men set sail from the marina in Svetly Yar on the morning of April 24. Soon a storm arose, and the boat, according to preliminary data, sank.

"The body of a 61-year-old man was found in the water 2 km from the village of Granki. The vessel and the other fishermen could not be found," the source said.

The police and the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are involved in the search for the men.

The day before, the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that a group of fishermen disappeared in the Katen River area in the Khabarovsk Territory. According to rescuers, five men between the ages of 19 and 32 went fishing by car from Khabarovsk on April 18. Later it became known that the fishermen had been found.
