The My Mentors project covered 65 regions of Russia and brought together more than 10,000 participants. This was announced on April 24 by Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, curator of the My Mentors project, at the Mentor's Compass 2.0 educational intensive course at the Mashuk Knowledge Center in Pyatigorsk.

"These days, at the Mashuk Knowledge Center, we are holding the Mentor's Compass, which has already become a traditional educational intensive. The most important thing is that the girls will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the best practices of implementing the My Mentors project in the regions of the country, gain skills in mentoring and developing a mentoring institute," Kharchenko said.

She noted that today the My Mentors project is being implemented by the United Russia Women's Movement with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in 65 regions and covers more than 10,000 participants. It was possible to implement 635 projects aimed at career guidance, health care development, assistance to families of participants in the special operation and the preservation of cultural traditions.

In Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, the winners of the regional stage received certificates for 100,000 rubles to implement their initiatives, and governors in a number of regions have adopted initiatives to create registers of mentors and coordinating councils.

Despite the busy training schedule, the intensive participants found time to join the All-Russian campaign "Dictation of Victory". Ekaterina Kharchenko also wrote a dictation in online format, confirming by personal example the importance of preserving historical memory.

Senator Daria Lantratova, co-chair of the public council of the federal party project "Women's Movement of United Russia", added that mentoring has already proven itself as an effective management tool at the state level.

"Mentoring has already proven itself as an effective management tool, including at the state level. And this is not only about career growth, the formation of a personnel reserve, but also about the implementation of social projects that really make life better in a particular region, city or municipality," Lantratova said.

According to her, psychological and emotional support is at the top of young people's requests today. She called "Life after Victory" an example of such a project, where the wives and mothers of the participants learn the basics of psychological support, and then help others in a peer—to-peer format.

Kharchenko noted on November 17 last year that the third season of the My Mentors project would include participants from all over Russia. Professionals from various fields are invited to participate in the project.: from civil service and entrepreneurship to pedagogy, medicine and scientific activity. Veterans of the special Military operation (SVO) will also be able to participate in the competition. Kharchenko identified as her top priority to reach as many Russian university and college students as possible who are looking for their "significant adult" to implement social projects and help shape their professional trajectory.
