- Reshetnikov pointed out that the Russian economy has the resources necessary for growth.
The Russian economy has all the resources for growth. This was announced on April 24 by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
"Despite external pressure and internal challenges, the Russian economy remains stable, we have all the necessary resources for growth," TASS quoted him as saying.
As Reshetnikov pointed out, currently the main "driver" is domestic demand, primarily consumer demand. In addition, he noted that the growth of the Russian economy is accompanied by minimal unemployment. Such low rates will remain in the next three years, the minister added.
Yesterday, Reshetnikov noted that the slowdown in inflation in Russia in 2026 is a steady trend. He added that inflation slowed to 5.6% by the end of 2025 after 9.5% a year earlier.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 16 that the Russian government's economic bloc has many proposals on how to stimulate the country's economy. He added that proposals have been voiced that are designed to activate the economy and give it greater dynamics of development.
