The Izvestia News Center project was shortlisted for the Iranian National Prize 2026

On April 23, the Institute for Internet Development (ANO IRI) announced the finalists of the National Internet Content Award, with 75 projects in 15 nominations included in the shortlist.

IRI announced the finalists of the award in the main categories, including —Game series over 30 minutes", "Game series up to 30 minutes", "Non-scripted project", "Documentary project", "Promo campaign", "Video clip up to 3 minutes", "Project in vertical format", "Animated content", "Viral content", "Podcast", "Music track", "Blog", "Messenger channel", "Special project in online media", "Social Internet campaign". The Izvestia special project "80 days to Victory" was included in the shortlist of the National Prize of Iran 2026 in the nomination "Special Project in online Media" according to the results of the evaluation of the Expert Council of the Award.

"80 days to Victory" is an attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the last days of the war in the deep rear, to show the price of Victory. The authors of the project suggested that users live these 80 days before Victory the way it was in 1945. A specially created landing page, which is an interactive illustration of a wartime living room with a portrait of Stalin and a tear-off calendar on the wall, a newspaper number on the table and a radio receiver, allowed us to immerse ourselves deeper into the atmosphere of waiting for Victory. Users could "read" the newspaper with the news about what happened on that date in 1945, turn on the radio and hear Levitan's voice. The situation changed over the course of 80 days, showing that time was passing and the dwelling was inhabited: a detachable calendar showed key dates, objects appeared and disappeared. Depending on what time of day the user visited the site, the lighting in the room changed to day or night.

In 2026, the IRI Prize will be held for the fifth time. The winners of the main industrial award will be announced on May 28 at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace.
