Since February 2022, more than 8 thousand Russian civilians have been killed and almost 20 thousand people have been injured by attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated on April 24 by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.
"The total number of injured civilians from the actions of Kiev's armed formations since February 2022 has already reached 27,873 people. This is at least, of which more than 8 thousand were killed. More precisely, we have a figure: 8,012 people were killed by Ukrainian militants," said Miroshnik.
He added that he himself traveled to the scene of the incidents, communicated with the victims and collected testimony.
Miroshnik noted that Kiev is striving for escalation and a deliberate deterioration of the humanitarian situation.
Miroshnik reported on March 19 that more than 3.8 thousand civilians in the Belgorod region have suffered from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2022, 467 have died. He specified that the number of victims includes 215 children, of whom 23 died as a result of the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
