Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi spoke about trusting relations with Lavrov

Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said on April 24 that he had developed a trusting relationship with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov during the negotiations in Moscow in 2019.

"Besides, as I have already said, in December I visited Moscow, where we held lengthy talks. <… > I believe that we have developed a trusting relationship," he said at a meeting of the relevant committee of the upper house of parliament.
