Footage of villages occupied by the Israeli military in southern Lebanon has emerged
The villages near the town of Yater in southern Lebanon, which were occupied by the Israeli military, were shown to Izvestia on April 24 by Al Mayadeen correspondent Ali Ahmar.
"We will try to fix the points where the Israeli occupation is still present, especially in the village of Beit Lif. <...> The occupation forces left huge destruction in this village," the journalist noted.
According to Akhmar, local residents are leaving many settlements, as Israeli troops are turning them into scorched earth. The footage also shows clouds of smoke over the hills around the town of Bint Jubail, where demolition work is underway.
Jabal Hamid post is located nearby. It has now become a hub for the Irish contingent, which has also been shelled.
On April 19, the Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen shared with Izvestia footage of the aftermath of large-scale Israeli strikes on the city of Nabatiya, which is also located in the south of the country. It was noted that despite the destruction, the locals retain the will to live.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, which was published on April 16, the total death toll from the IDF in Lebanon reached 2,196 people.
