The ex-recruiter spoke about the indifference of the AFU mercenaries from Colombia to the fate of Ukraine

Colombian mercenaries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are indifferent to the fate of Kiev — their only goal is economic gain. This was reported on April 24 by a former recruiter of mercenaries from Colombia to the Middle East, who is well aware of the mercenary market in Ukraine.

"Colombians don't go to Ukraine because they worry about it... Their goal is purely economic — to get personal benefits," he stressed in an interview with RIA Novosti.

People from the region are a more reliable resource for Kiev than the mobilized fleeing the battlefield.

Earlier, on April 20, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recruiting Colombian shoemakers and agricultural technicians into their ranks, since due to the need to have manpower when recruiting mercenaries in Ukraine, military experience was no longer taken into account.

The Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rodion Miroshnik, said on March 12 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had recruited up to 5,000 mercenaries from Latin American countries.
