A carsharing driver hit two pedestrians on the Altufyevsky highway in Moscow, he was detained. This was announced on April 23 by the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate.
"The carsharing driver ignored the demands of the traffic police officers to stop and continued driving, trying to escape. The police organized a pursuit, during which the offender lost control and hit an obstacle, followed by hitting pedestrians," the agency said in the MAX messenger.
It is noted that two people were injured in the accident. According to the Izvestia source, two women were taken to the hospital with head injuries. A 22-year-old man injured his hand and refused to be hospitalized.
Traffic police officers establish all the circumstances of the traffic accident. The driver and passenger of the rented car were detained by the police, they were taken to the department.
On the same day, eight passengers and a 60-year-old driver were injured in an accident with a passenger bus in Zheleznogorsk. According to preliminary data, in the morning on Zagorodnaya Street, the bus was moving towards the checkpoint. When climbing the mountain, the driver lost control, drove off the road and crashed into a tree.
