Russia is aiming for the second place in the world in terms of military-technical cooperation (MTC), and exports are already increasing for this purpose. This was announced on April 23 by the head of Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov.

"Despite the sanctions, Russia is increasing its export rates and aims to be the second largest in the world in terms of military—technical cooperation," Chemezov is quoted as saying on Rostec's website.

The state corporation signed an agreement with MGIMO, under which the parties agreed to develop targeted training for the training of engineering and defense specialists. The program will involve specialists from industrial enterprises, as well as representatives of technical and military universities.

On January 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian military-technical cooperation products had been delivered to more than 30 countries in 2025. The Head of State also noted that Russian weapons exported to other countries have been tested and tested in real combat.
