The deputy spoke about early payments of benefits to families with children
The schedule of social benefits for families with children in April – May 2026 will be adjusted due to the holidays, while some benefits will be transferred ahead of schedule, and individual payments will be received on standard dates. This was reported to Izvestia by State Duma deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party, Deputy Chairman of the Budget and Taxes Committee Kaplan Panes.
"A single allowance in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child, as well as a child care allowance for up to 1.5 years for non—working citizens, who usually come on the 3rd of each month, will be transferred ahead of schedule for April 2026 - April 29-30. The postponement is due to the fact that May 3, 2026 is a public holiday," he said.
The remaining payments will keep the established transfer dates. Thus, the monthly payment from the maternity capital will be received on May 5, and the allowance for child care up to 1.5 years for working citizens — on May 8. The specified schedule applies to recipients to whom funds are transferred to bank accounts.
It is separately noted that when payments are delivered through post offices, the deadline for receiving them is extended until May 25. In addition, the benefits for May 2026 will be transferred as early as June: the single benefit will be received on June 3 in accordance with the established schedule.
