The average price of a new Chinese car in Russia has increased by 30% in four years. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, shared such data on his Telegram channel on April 23.

So, in January-April of this year, the average price of a new Chinese passenger car in the Russian Federation was 3.5 million rubles. In 2022, the same figure was 2.7 million rubles. When calculating, the analyst took into account cars of Russian brands that are based on Chinese models.

Last year, the average cost of a Chinese car calculated using the same method (20 brands with maximum sales) was 2.39 million rubles. The increase in the first four months of this year was 3.2%, the expert noted.

For calculations, ads on three classifieds (9.5 million units) for the period from January 2022 to April 2026 were used.
