The Moscow City Court confirmed the legality of bringing to administrative responsibility actress Yana Troyanova (included in the register of foreign agents, included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation) for violating the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent. This was announced on April 23 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

The ruling against Troyanova was issued by the Tagansky District Court of Moscow in August 2025 under Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Absence of labeling of a foreign agent on materials distributed on the Internet"). She was fined 45 thousand rubles.

"The Judicial Board for Administrative Cases of the Moscow City Court left the decision of the court of first instance unchanged, and the appeal was not satisfied," the courts' Telegram channel said.

In November 2025, Troyanova was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison in a case involving public calls to terrorism. The actress, who lives in France, is charged under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — on evading the duties of a foreign agent, inciting hatred and public calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, she posted online materials with calls for violence and insults against Russians.

Prior to that, the investigation completed the investigation of the criminal case against the actress and put her on the international wanted list.
