- Sobyanin spoke about the museums dedicated to him in schools and colleges in Moscow
Currently, 175 museums dedicated to the special military operation are operating in Moscow schools and colleges. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX. In total, over 250 objects are presented in the frames of the expositions — artifacts from combat sites, personal belongings of fighters and installations.
According to Sobyanin, such museums help the younger generation "to learn more about the modern history of the Motherland and its heroes."
The first Russian school museum dedicated to the SVO was established at school No. 1164 in 2023. At the exhibition "Donbass. Return" presents objects from the battlefields, photographs of the peaceful and military life of the DPR, and videos about schoolchildren in Donetsk. The museum is named after Alexander Chufistov, the former director of Moscow School No. 1794, who volunteered for his military service and died while performing a combat mission.
The museum "For Truth!", which operates at school No. 1517, tells about the combat path of the 1429th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment. And the museum at school No. 1409 is dedicated to its graduates — participants of the SVO. An alley with photos of fighters has been created on the territory. There is also a bust of Hero of Russia Andrey Ryabtsev, commander of a motorized rifle company. He died near Avdiivka in the DPR, saving his comrades.
Expositions about the heroes of the SVR also operate at the Moscow Educational Complex named after Viktor Talalikhin, College of Automation and Information Technology No. 20, Technical Fire and Rescue College named after Hero of the Russian Federation V.M. Maksimchuk and the First Moscow Educational Complex.
