Mobile pharmacies will be opened in remote villages of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Mobile pharmacies will be opened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for residents of remote villages. The format showed its relevance during testing in 2024 as part of a pilot project of Roszdravnadzor.

Such pharmacy centers will operate in localities where there are no stationary pharmacies, pharmacies and hospitals. One mobile pharmacy will serve dozens of settlements. Residents will be able to get advice from a specialist with a pharmaceutical education.

Pharmacy points will start operating in an experimental format on September 1. The project has been implemented for three years.

At such points, it will be possible to purchase both the most common drugs and prescription drugs upon pre-order. The exception will be products containing psychotropic and narcotic substances, as well as those requiring special storage conditions. The vehicles involved in the delivery of medicines will be equipped for autonomous operation.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency notes that the Committee on Social Policy and Health Protection of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was one of the initiators of the draft law on mobile pharmacies, which was adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
