Signs prohibiting scooters were installed in the center of Krasnoyarsk

Signs prohibiting the movement of electric scooters have appeared in the historical center of Krasnoyarsk. This is the first stage of the city's preparation for the new rules for the use of personal mobility equipment.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, citing Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin, writes that the ban on riding scooters will be in effect in more than 100 urban areas. These include pedestrian zones in the city center, such as Mira and Karl Marx Avenues.

The work on installing the signs began in advance, as this process takes time. More than 70 prohibition signs will appear in the city center. They will be covered with special covers until the ban on the use of the SIM officially comes into force. All necessary documents should be signed in the coming days.

Abandoned sims are subject to evacuation. A fine of up to 100,000 rubles is provided for violating the ban.

Earlier, on March 25, it was reported that the electric scooter season was opened in Krasnoyarsk. They can be found in parts of the Sverdlovsk region, as well as in the Soviet and Central districts.
