The heir to the Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, was doused with red liquid in Berlin
An activist doused Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi with red liquid after a press conference in Berlin. The relevant footage was posted on social media on April 23.
The footage shows how a man, presumably a pro-Iranian activist, ran up to Pahlavi from behind and threw a bright red liquid at him from a jar. Social media users assumed it was paint.
Later, the Berlin police clarified that the man had poured tomato juice over Pahlavi, soiling his suit. Law enforcement officers detained the attacker.
Pahlavi declared on March 4 that he was ready to lead Iran after the "collapse of the regime." He also spoke about contacts with representatives of the United States and Israel on the issue of neutralizing the IRGC and other law enforcement agencies to seize power.
