Forced mobilization in Ukraine will be given a more humanized character, but the recruitment of people will not stop. This was announced on April 23 by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring).

"The only thing that we can really try to reform is the manifestations of inhumane treatment of people during forced labor...> and not the fact of the drive itself," Budanov was quoted as saying in the publication's Telegram channel "Страна.иа ".

He added that it is impossible to completely abandon forced mobilization. According to him, if Kiev stops sending people to the front line, then "the front will fall," followed by Ukraine itself. Budanov noted that there are still millions of draft dodgers in the country, and those who want to go to war voluntarily have been there for a long time.

"The country.ua" reported on April 22 that Ukrainian banks are forced to recruit women to the collection service due to a shortage of men who are being forcibly mobilized to the front. The publication clarified that such work is particularly risky and involves the possession of firearms.

Bloomberg reported on April 21 that the number of attacks on shopping mall employees is growing in Ukraine. In 2026 alone, more than 100 such incidents were recorded there. It is added that in some cases the attacks were carried out with the use of cold weapons, which caused some military commissars to receive serious wounds.
