Ferris wheel with transparent floor booths to be launched in Ulan-Ude
A Ferris wheel with transparent floor booths will appear in Ulan-Ude. From the height of the attraction, which will be called the "Sun of Buryatia", it will be possible to see the main city attractions and surroundings for 30 km.
Thus, residents and guests of the capital of the republic will have the opportunity to see the Ivolginsky Datsan (Khambyn Khure), the Council Square with the government building, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Selenga River and the Khamar-Daban mountain range.
There will be 24 enclosed cabins on the wheel, each of which can accommodate up to six people. Three cabins will have a transparent floor for 360-degree viewing, writes IA UlanMedia.
The attraction will operate all year round, at temperatures from -30 to +35 degrees.
Earlier it was reported that Buryatia will receive 800 million rubles from the federal treasury for the construction of large landfills. The facilities will be located in Ulan-Ude and the villages of Selenginsk and Turuntaevo. Over the past five years, 300 out of 900 landfills have been eliminated in the region. In particular, four landfills were closed in Severobaikalsk, the Zakamensk district and the village of Ust-Barguzin. Another 37 were eliminated at the expense of republican money.
