In Buenos Aires, a driver tried to kidnap a Russian woman's child in a taxi. Olga, the victim, told Izvestia about this on April 23.

It is noted that the incident occurred at a local shopping center. According to the woman, she called the car through the app. The taxi driver stopped on the roadway. The woman opened the back door, put the child in the cabin and began to pack the stroller and things.

At that moment, the car started moving. The driver started off smoothly, and then accelerated, while the back door remained open, and the child was inside alone, after which Olga dropped her things and ran after the car. Later, she still managed to pick up the child.

According to Olga, a passerby helped her move to a safe place. After a while, the taxi driver returned, but because she didn't know the language, she couldn't understand what he was saying in response. At the same time, the woman also sent a complaint to the support service.

"The police said that they did not see any evidence of a crime, since the child was not taken away," Olga said.

In addition, it turned out that the driver has been working in this taxi service for about two weeks.

The day before, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Dagestan sentenced a 42-year-old resident of the Levashinsky district to life in prison for the abduction, rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl. It was established that in June 2018, the defendants conspired to kidnap a child and demand a ransom of 2 million rubles from relatives.
