A fire in a six-storey apartment building in Makhachkala has been eliminated, there are no casualties. This was announced on April 23 by the head of the fire and rescue squad of the State fire Service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Dagestan, Musaib Agamakhmedov.

"At the moment, open gorenje has been eliminated, the disassembly of spilled structures is underway. There are no casualties," he said, and the video was posted by the ministry's press service on Sunday.

According to Agamakhmedov, the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated 75 people, including 24 children.

A fire in a six-storey apartment building on the attic floor in Makhachkala became known on April 22. As a result of the fire, part of the roof of the burning house collapsed. The fire area was 600 square meters, 39 people and 12 pieces of equipment worked to extinguish it.
