Military personnel of the Lancet barrage ammunition calculation, in coordination with the calculation of Zala unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the unmanned Systems Forces (UAVs) as part of the artillery unit of the Center group of forces, identified and destroyed the Bogdan self-propelled artillery installation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnepropetrovsk area of the special military operation. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on April 23.

"By conducting reconnaissance, an experienced operator will be able to determine by indirect or other signs, such as bumps, arrivals, landings. The same pile of debris is one of the signs that something is hidden," explains Vladimir Mityashin, commander of the reconnaissance and strike division.

Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) have discovered an enemy self-propelled gun hidden in the forest area. The received data was promptly transmitted to the artillery fire control center.

The Lancet calculation was used to destroy the target. Having received the exact coordinates, the servicemen launched the supplies and struck the AFU equipment. In turn, the operators of the Zala reconnaissance drone provided guidance and monitored the process of hitting the target in real time.

"Thanks to the experience and the tailwind, we <...> got right into the engine," says drone operator Alexei Bayenkov.

The daily work of the calculations of the BPS troops of the Center group of forces to detect strong points, firing positions, equipment, UAV control points, manpower and temporary deployment points of the enemy ensures the conditions conducive to the advancement of the group's assault units and the creation of a security zone within the Dnipropetrovsk region.
