Lance Corporal Zmanovsky destroyed four AFU FPV drones with a smoothbore rifle

Corporal Serhiy Zmanovsky, who acted as part of a repair and evacuation group and was engaged in the removal of damaged equipment in one of the areas of the special military operation, destroyed four FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 23 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

During one of the flights, Zmanovsky encountered several enemy FPV drones, he notified the group of the danger and eliminated four enemy drones with a smoothbore rifle. Thanks to the decisive actions of the corporal, the repair and evacuation group was able to successfully complete the combat mission. It is specified that the Russian serviceman as part of the group evacuated about 35 units of damaged captured equipment during the performance of tasks.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the vigilance and competent actions of Sergeant Chenchubaev, who carried out an aerial reconnaissance mission on the line of contact as part of the reconnaissance squad and ensured the destruction of the enemy mortar.

According to the Ministry of Defense, during the offensive on the positions of Sergeant Chenchubayev's group, the enemy opened mortar fire. Despite the fact that the sergeant was injured as a result of the attack, he was able to orient himself and remained in a combat position. The soldier identified the location of the mortar and sent an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) there for aerial reconnaissance, during which he discovered a hidden enemy mortar crew.

Thanks to Chenchubayev's actions, it was possible to fix the exact location of the enemy target in time, report to their command and launch an artillery strike. As a result of the task, the AFU calculation was destroyed, the units of the Russian army were able to successfully advance.
