The American leader, Donald Trump, did not set a clear deadline for the end of the ceasefire with the Iranian side. This was announced on April 22 by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.

"The president has not yet set a specific time frame for this cease—fire (with Iran — Week), but this war has already dragged on longer than he initially predicted," she said during a conversation with reporters at the White House.
