According to a resident of Alexandrovsk, he met a girl online who talked about the possibility of earning a high income on the stock exchange. She gave the man the contacts of the "broker". The conman convinced the victim to install the app on his smartphone and deposit a small amount.
According to the Bi-port news agency, the northerner "invested" $20, and his income began to be displayed in the application. Then the man transferred 1 million rubles, and then added 3.5 million rubles, which he issued on credit.
When the victim tried to withdraw the income, the money was unavailable. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
In Ussuriysk, a 52-year-old woman gave almost 3 million rubles to fraudsters. The scammers communicated with the victim on behalf of law enforcement agencies.
