Apple has not yet provided specifics on the issue of removing the Telegram client from the App Store. The developers of the application informed Izvestia about this on April 22.

"We have not received any specifics in the two weeks since the app was deleted, only the fact that our request has been received. Different experts state different hypotheses, but Apple itself has not commented on anything," the press service said.

According to the interlocutor, there should not be such a situation when a developer wonders about the reasons for such harsh measures. At the same time, he noted that Telega is open to dialogue and is ready to provide Apple with all the necessary information for additional verification.

"These practices limit the ability of developers to continue working and directly affect users," the press service stressed.

Telegram clarified that it expects that the review by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will be a step towards more transparent and predictable rules of interaction between the platform and developers.

On the same day, the FAS reported that Apple could have violated antitrust laws by introducing measures against the Telegram modification of the Telegram messenger. It was noted that the agency may take antimonopoly response measures if the violations are confirmed.

On April 9, the Telegram application, an unofficial client of the Telegram messenger, admitted that the loss of the service from the App Store was due to negative user reviews. It was clarified that Telega intends to send detailed explanations of the problem to the store in order to restore the download of the application.
