A man was injured when an APU drone attacked a car in the Kursk region.
A man was seriously injured as a result of an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car in the village of Korenevo in the Korenevsky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 22 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.
"As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack in the Kursk border region, a civilian was injured. An enemy drone attacked a civilian car in the village of Korenevo, Korenevsky district. A 43-year-old man was injured," he wrote on the channel in the MAX.
Khinstein added that the man is in serious condition. The victim has a blind shrapnel wound to his right forearm, fractured hand, ulna, right hip and knee, and an open fracture to the bones of his right shin. The governor said that the man will be taken to the Kursk regional hospital after first aid.
On the same day, Khinstein reported that 36 residents of an apartment building in Kursk had been evacuated due to a drone crash in the courtyard. It was noted that the incident occurred on the territory of the Central District of the city. The wreckage of the drone damaged the roof of the building. There was no detonation of the UAV.
